A friend of mine Mick brought this to my attention, sounds like a useful O.S. (for many windows users) but not a huge money maker for MS, so you (like me) probably have heard nothing about this.
Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs ("WinFLP") is an operating system from
Microsoft, based on Windows XP, but optimized for older, less powerful
hardware. It was released on July 8, 2006.
